I would like to install Kodi on a TCL U49P6066. Unfortunately, its native app store does not offer the option. I've tried using the T-Browser app to download Kodi, but Google's Play Store doesn't recognize the TCL U49P6066 as an Android device. I have not been able so far to determine what operating system the device is actually using. Online tools indicate that it may be Linux, but the quality of those tools is not clear. They may simply be misidentifying Android or Android TV. Has anyone succeeded in installing Kodi on this particular line (UxxP6066) of TCL devices? If not, is there an open source operating system, similar to the many ROMS available from XDA for phones? I'd appreciate some ideas and help. Feel free to respond in German. [Beitrag von Crike am 20.
