hi, new to this forum. I have pruchased some audio equipt. may not be considered hi-fi, but hear goes. nad t753 a/v reciever psb 6t image floor standing speakers(front stage) psb 5 subwoffer psb center channel(not sure of model) kevlar 8" w/directional tweeter inwall suround speakers and the sound sucsks compared to my other freinds system the only diif I can figure out is the power per channel. theirs o ver 100 watts per channel, mine 80 watts per channel. I think my reciever has suficent power???  anyone got any ideas. |

Your equipment doesnt look too bad on paper. But, did you listen to it prior to buying? Also, what equipment are your friends using? |

Hi, I think positioning of the speakers (and furniture) make a big differenceI have a big hall ( about 13m long,4.5m wide and very high). I used to place my Bose am6 along the width, the surrounds somewher in the middle of the hall and the sub in one corner.The bass was really thin and the highs very sharp.I almost sold off the bose, then I rearranged the fronts along the length , about 4.5m apart and the surrounds behind. Its heaven for me now |
