connect yamaha cx-a5100 to loewe bild7

hello,
there are four hdmi inputs on the loewe bild7, but there is only one for UHD players.(hdmi input four). when i connect my yamaha cx-a5100 preamplifier to the hdmi 4 input of the loewe bild7 i have a distorted picture which is not the case when i connect it to the other hdmi inputs of the bild7. the hdmi cable i use is 4k certified. can anyone help me ?

Did you try a different cable?

I use the same combination and have (almost) no issues. The only issue that I've observed so far is the choice of wrong color spaces when using Loewe's HDMI 4.

thank you for your answer. i use the most recent cable which is 4k compatible
. what do you mean with almost no issues ?

When connecting the Yamaha + sources like Oppo 103D / Nvidia Shield or VU+ UNO 4K to Loewe's HDMI 4, the Loewe seems to choose the wrong color space. That means black level is incorrect and colors are too loud.

hello johannes,
according to the loewe owner's manual you have to connect to the hdmi 4 to be able to have dolby vision , which is available and will be on 4k blu-rays.
