Yamaha Natural Sound A-720 Stereo Probleme

Moinsen zusammen, ich hab mir vor kurzem einen (gebrauchten

) Yamaha Natural Sound A-720 gegönnt und habe folgendes Problem:

Im Stereo-mode wird der linke Kanal nicht, bzw. sehr sehr schlecht angesteuert. Wenn ich auf Mono umschalte kommt aus beiden Boxen gleich voller Sound, es liegt also nicht an Boxen /Kabeln. Ob ich die Boxen an die A, B, oder C Ausgänge hänge macht auch keinen Unterschied!!!

Ich bin völlig ratlos woran das liegen könnte und wie man das evtl. wieder beheben kann, vertraue aber natürlich auf den fachkundigen Rat der Forums-Gurus

Hi,

If the A-720 is like the A-520 that I have the manual for, the mono-switch is directly at the Main-input phono-plugs shorting out the inputs directly from the input selector switch.
That means there are NO active circuits before the mono-switch (..except the phono pre-amplifier) so the ONLY thing that can be causing this kind of trouble is the input select switch.
I suggest to clean it with Contact-60 or 61 or even better with DeoxIT if you can get it.

Der übliche Hinweis: Bei Verwendung von Kontakt 60 dieses mit WL ausspülen und mit 61 versiegeln. K60 keinesfalls im Schalter belassen.

Achja, Oszillin (Teslanol t6) dürfte es auch tun.

Thanx a bunch, I'll go ahead and try that. The service manual would be quite handy, I guess. So if it doesn't cause you any trouble I'd appreciate a copy.

Super Hilfe dieser Thread! Hatte gerade mit einem Yamaha A-720 ähnliche Probleme, jedoch begrenzt auf 2 Eingangskanäle. Der Hinweis des TE mit der Monoschaltung gab dann den Entscheidenden Hinweis. Auf + sauber gemacht -> läuft!
