Free...Free..Free!!!

O.K. folks! I realize that this is not the forum to post this message. But basically here is where I am likely to get an immediate response, and also, the other forum, "Used Hi-Fi" is basically about resale and I am not selling anything in this case. So here is my offer. Anybody who can pick up the following things from my home on Bannerughatta Road, Bangalore, can take them for free.

1.) A Philips 625-K DVD player. This was purchased in 2003 December (7K), presently under use, is in excellent condition, and also under Philips AMC contract till March 2006. This was also the first source CD player for my component system, and also has good audio quality unlike many commercial DVD players. This is also the toned-down version of a higher version of Philips DVD player, wherein the progressive scan was blocked by Philips, and can be turned on through a remote-hack (which I preserved along with the original documentation). The original package carton, documentation, bills and the player are in scrach-free condition. Basically, anybody who is a member of this forum, building his first component system, and looking for a decent source, is welcome!

2.) A Behringer Supre-X-Pro-CX2310 active stereo crossover purchased by me (7.9K) from Meco Tronics, Brigade Road, Bangalore on 31.07.2004. This is actually meant for small gigs and P.A. systems, and rated as one of the (few) good Behringer products. I purchased it with the intention of experimenting with an active crossover in my home system, but soon realized that I am better off without introducing another electronic component in the chain. Like the Philips DVD player, this too is with the original package carton, bills & documentation. The crossover was stacked with other components directly one above the other for sometime, and therefore one or two scratches are there on the top side of its cabinet. I used it for hardly 15 days or so, during which I suspect that due to a defective interconnect, one of the channels of the crossover became defective (to be rechecked & confirmed). But this too can be easily rectified, at the most for a couple of hundred bucks, at Meco Tronics. Infact this problem occurred during the warranty period itself, and could have been easily rectified free of cost, but out of laziness I did not take it to Meco Tronics (I was also not using the product anymore). Basically, anybody who does small gigs can find it very useful, as it has umpteen number of features and controls about which you can check online.

No, i buy direct from digikey..
Buy all the ICs that are not available here at one shot. Some friends of mine who want ICs too add in their lists to save on shipping.

however, i got the OPA4228s through a friend of mine who works in TI.
