Headphone amps in India?

I haven't touched a soldering iron in years, and, because of not having a theoretical background, have previously only worked on assembling circuits in books or magazines. So making headphone amps myself is probably going to be a futile exercise currently.

Given that, is it possible to get any readymade headphone amps in India? Preferably in Bangalore and Delhi(in that order).

Musical Fidelity XCan V3 Rs 27990/- from audiopeople chennai

Alternatively you might wanna ask viren to build you one. Might be cheaper.... can't say.

saw a few @ Palm Audio Show yesterday;
Setron from New Delhi had a few for sale.
I was not interested, so do not have any idea.
Maybe you could look it up.

Thursday - Friday - Saturday

I liked the show.

Lots of things to see / hear.

It was well organised.

The H & K Monitors were there too - good.

I liked the monitors from KRK - Expose [I have put a link to them on the Dynaudio 140 page [our forum]. This is a great product @ a brilliant price. WIll / Can take the fight home to a lot of 'home audio' products....
Our friends on this forum should seriously consider it.

I have used a Tannoy Studio Monitor - Ellipse 8 - & trust me when I say, it will kill [yes - smash it] any home audio speaker under 2 lacs & it [Ellipse 8] is really cheap - 125 K including 3 amplifiers.

SOme of these Studio Monitors are real great VFM products.
One just needs to hear them - seriously - intently.

I tend to agree with u bhagwan. I heard the krk monitors as well at the show at wtc few months ago and they were very good. Their sub integration with bookshelf was also very good. I mentioned the same somewhere on the forum.

Sometimes I think the pro guys have the best sounding stuff at half the cost of regular hifi and they also employ cutting edge tech.hifi most of the time is way overpriced.

A used XCan V3 (used for less than 50 hours) is going for around 14k (negotiable or not, I dont know but one can try)..anyone interested ?
