My Reimyo DAC is up for sale. It is really a wonderful DAC.....only reason being that i have developed my own DAC, hence my loyalty has changed.

Sonically the Reimyo is still hard to beat...for its fluid and effortless presentation. You will find many reviews of the DAC on the internet.

Paid over 2.2 lakhs for it (MRP : 5000 USD, 1 year back). Expecting around 1.3 lakhs for the same. DAC is just about a year old.

For those intrested, there is also a DIY Transport for sale...which goes very well with this DAC through the AES/EBU interface.

Nice DAC. Have heard it several times. I like its sound.

Fantastic DAC and one of the best around ..having heard it can vouch for it..sadly outside of my budget

Nice price for such a good DAC, it can be the foundation stone for your future digital play back lineup.

Siva, this link is an indicator of how difficult is it to sell used gear here in India

hi ani,

i think more than the 'used' gear its more the price. for example personally i'd love to get my hands on it, but the price is prohibitive

abhi's and arj's cd players went in a snap. the price points are miles apart and i dont think there are so many audiophiles who can afford such stuff even though its worth it.

It is impossible to sell used hi fi gear in India. Low Fi sells in a snap. Mid Fi does get some takers, but Hi Fi is simply impossible to find takers.
Even @ 50 to 70 % Discount one cannot find buyers.
I have so much gear for sale - all most brand new - sparingly used @ 50 to 60 points off and no enquiry.

Stevieboy, you have made a very valid point.

That DAC is nice;
I have had a chance to audition it several times in different set ups & have liked it.

If you have to stretch, you should. Buy it. It is free @ 2.5 K US $'s

i would bhagwan but recently bought a SET and on personal front money needs to be deployed elsewhere otherwise a great buy i agree am very sorely tempted though!

AV Max continues to list it for sale by you... in their current Issue, I received this week !

Apparently no AV Max Editorial staff are on this forum ! ?
