Hi!
I have a mint condition 4 month old, hardly burnt-in Conrad Johnson MF2500A power amp for sale.

Amp still with original warranty and officially sold through Absolute Phase, sourced through the Indian offical distributor of CJ in India.

This is a nice powerful amp

Customer is upgrading to the Premier 350 reference CJ power amp. hence the sale.

MF2500A Power Amplifier
Power: 250 watts per channel from 20 Hz to 20kHz at no more than 1% THD or IMD, both channels driven into 8 ohms
Frequency response: 20 Hz to 20 KHz +0, -.25db
Hum and noise: more than 100 dB below rated full power output.
Input Impedance: 100K Ohms.
Dimensions: 16.375D x 19W x 6.75H inches
Weight: 26 KGS

You know I cant afford it, but even a cat may look at a king! What mad price are you asking for this monster.

This same amplifier may be available with Sound of Music in New Delhi - Mr. Hamid - 09810050300 you may call & ask for the price.

There is one more in Bombay - Mr. Arshad has one for sale too - 098202 83246.

Call & ask for price if one is interested.

WOW Bhagwan,
You are really well versed!
I have no intention of even thinking of buying this level equipment. I would have to be a crorepati. Humble me is mere modest small time lakhpati. More to the point I was simply curious as to how much people pay for this sort of kit in India. Thanks for the information anyhow, which is interesting in itself.

Arshad does'nt have one for sale infact he's waiting for is Premier 350 to arrive.

PS: I used to own the CJ2500A it was a good solid state compramise who likes CJ sound and I eventually realized I wasnt a fan of the CJ sound

If one likes music then audio is an expensive hobby, however, if you take Audio as a Hobby, then the amount you spend on it is paltry [in comparison].

What if you liked to set world records in 'hot air balloons' ? Then ??? That is an expensive hobby ! Just kidding !!!

Besides, to buy expensive gear, one does not need to be a 'crorepati' [as you put it] but someone that likes the good things in life & wants to hear his music in a particular manner [it is about the thought process & ones priorities]. People will spend 5 lacs & above on a car that is always parked on the road, but not on an audio system, why ???? Because the Car gets noticed ???? Social reasons etc. Besides a car that costs 5 lacs will not even begin to give you any pleasure, it will just get you from point a to point b.

An Audio system that costs 500 K will surely transport you from good old earth to some better place for sure; Just ponder over it;

p.s. I am not a 'rich' person by any stretch of any persons imagination, but I like my audio [hobby] & will probably spend more on it than most persons would spend on buying a 'house' for themselves !!!! [all to do with ones set of prioroties].
