Frontlautsprecher für Ford Escort MK4

Hi everybody!!
Sorry for writing this in English, but my German is quite poor and as I'm about to order some stuff from Germany(I'm from Denmark) and this is one of the best and biggest german forums I've found, I thought I should try to ask you people!

I have a Escort from 1989 and want to buy a new HU and some new front speakers.
So far my choice of HU has fallen on a Pioneer DEH-P5630MP for 185 Euro.
My problems are regarding the front speakers. The original ones are 13 cm and are mounted at the foot end on either side. I want to just mount the new speakers in the same place as the original and want to ask if anybody with knowledge about escorts knows how deep the speakers are allowed to be.
I've looked at these canton RS 13 cx:

The "einbautiefe" is 56 mm. Do you know if they will fit.

Otherwise you are welcome to comment on the Pioneer HU and the cantons. As the speakers are only driven by the HU, is this a good choice then?? Otherwise what can you recommend?

Hallo,

Du könntest doch ganz einfach dein Fenster runterkurbeln, die Frontlautsprecher rausschrauben und nachmessen! Dann hast du in etwa die Einbautiefe!

Eine gute Wahl ist es nicht unbedingt, die Lautsprecher an Radio anzuschließen, besser an einen seperaten Verstärker!

Ich denke an den Komponenten gibt es ansonsten nicht viel zu mängeln! Die sind schon in Ordnung!

Thanks. I understand you perfectly.

Yes, I know that a amplifier would be the best, but I've decided not to put too much money on the system as it's a quite an old car.
Also I know component speakers would be a better solution, but will it make much difference when you're not using an amplifier? Also I'm not sure where and how to install the tweeter. And I suppose I also have to buy speaker cable then and run them from the HU to crossover to speakers. As I'm no handyman even simple things like that looks like a tough job to do..

Ja, KomponentenSysme sind in der Regel besser! Da der Tweeter höher ober verbaut werden kann, somit ist die Bühne auch weiter oben, was halt besser klingt!

Auch der Unterschied MIT Verstärker ist deutlich hörbar!
Ein mal der Pegel, die ganze Dynamik, die Musik scheint freier zu spielen.

Denk auch mal daran, dass du eine Hifi-Anlage auch immer größtenteils übernehmen kannst! Daher macht ein Verstärker auch Sinn! Kannst später in dein nächsts Auto übernehmen!

Wo und wie das entscheidest du! Da wo er am besten klingt für dich! Und beim WIE, kannste dich dann kreativ auslassen!

Mit den Kabeln hast du richtig erkannt, ist schon eine Mehrarbeit, lohnt sich aber meines Erachtens!

I will consider buying a component set then, maybe these canton RS 2.13:

They are the same price as the coaxials.

Then later if necessary I can then upgrade the system with an amplifier.

Kein Problem!

Das halte ich für sinnvoll, später nochmal eine Endstufe zu kaufen, um das Canton da anzuschließen!

Würd dir beim Canton aber dringend raten, dir das vorher anzuhören!
Canton ist gewöhnlich recht schrill im Hochtonbereich, aber sonst ein sehr gutes System!
Und ich würd wirklich das Compo nehmen anstatt dem Koax! Bringt dir wirklich mehr Klang ins Auto!

Suche:
