Canton sub 1200R install problem with remote control .

Hello guys,
first I would like to appologize that I write simple English. If somebody help me I will happy.
From Germany I bought new sub Canton 1200R. Yesterday I received it. Is amazing and today I like to install him. From morning till now I used a lot of combinations how turn it via remote control. Nothing.
First I changed battery CR2450. Again nothing. Light only red led on front panel.
Remote control not respond on any button (push more than 2sek Setup) - nothing, push - phase, + phase, power auto - nothing, push this combination all together - nothing, push each singly quick - nothing. Change cinch cable - nothing. All light only red led. My opinion that remote control not respond on any buttons or I do something wrong?
Where is problem please. I am desperate ...

Correct orientation of Battery?

Use Handy-Cam to check if the IR LED on the front of the remote control flashes when you press a button. (Cam chip has a wider frequency range than the human eye an is able to see infrared light)

/Edit: The 'red light' is the LED in front of the Canton-Sub? Then he received a signal.... are you sure to have the right remote-control?

Sub was original wrapped include label Canton. Remote control has number from packet: RC130886.
Red led light on red when I turn On back switch. Not flash only light.
I am not expert but this RC is not has radio signal?

Hello guys,
maybe I resolve problem.
Problem was this. On two (-) remote control not work :-)
Right side I bend to (+)
RC was new from fabric ...
I am happy guys.

My issue is, that only the red LED on the remote control is blinking red (approx. 1 sec. interval) nothing else. Woofer does not turn on.
Ideas? maybe the battery?

Measure up the battery, if you are able to, or exchange it.

3 different batteries, 2 of them new - same thing....
and after some time trying - nothing. It seems like the remote drains the battery VERY fast. I am still wondering what the red blinking LED should mean. Any ideas?
