The Dac is only 3-4 months old in mint condition, Retail price US$ 5,000/-

Hi Satyam,
long time no speak! How have you been lately? Hope that you are well & that your 2-ch is serving you well these days....

I have been following your posts on Audiogon re. the Weiss Minerva DAC & I understood from those posts that this is supposed to be a very good DAC for computer audio esp. after the software upgrade. I suppose that I'm a bit confused why you are selling it?

Perhaps you have too many DACs on hand (a nice problem to have on hand!

)

I've been good!, hope all is well on your end too. I'm looking to sell my Weiss and the Audio Aero Prestige SE and looking to go to a dcS rack. This indeed is a super dac can't think of another 5K product with this kind of convince.

A college friend who now lives in the Netherlands and has dCS has only this to say about the dCS sound : " It belongs to a different Gene-pool"

Sir, I beg to differ !

The Minerva is a SUPERB DAC, probably the BEST Money can buy, without getting into 'funny' prices

Also, I suspect that it will be offered SUBSTANTIALLY below its list price, making it a SUPERB buy !

I would have bought it myself, but dont want to get into HDD playback, Yet....

Is the Weiss DAC 2 still available? The list price for a brand new DAC 2 is CHF 3065 (Swiss Franks, see

Assuming your DAC is a recent model (serial number 1041 or higher) and is in like-new condition I'd be interested in buying your DAC. My price offer is USD 1800 (including shipping and customs etc.).
