Wiki on 1:1 Pixelmapped HDTVs

Hi,

Sorry for (again) posting here in english

I have created a wiki/website with the purpose of listing HDTVs which support showing an HDMI/DVI input at the TVs native resolution without scaling, overscanning or other artifacts, that is 1:1 pixel mapped. Information on any kind of HDTV is welcome(LCD,plasma, rear projection etc).

This wiki is public so everybody is free to edit the contents, and provide information on TVs which arent mentioned.

Unfortunately for me i dont read(or write) german, and as such i am cut off from adding information on this forum regarding this issue(though i try using babelfish).

The purpose of this post is to alert you to this new website, hoping that you will help contribute to it so that people will no longer have to search hundreds of web forums in multiple languages in order to find out what HDTVs can be used with a HTPC. It just seems stupid not to centralize knowledge of this issue

There has been an extensive Wikipedia entry before covering this topic and we're running an active thread on the topic on the scaler & htpc board...

Thanks for the tip, i assume you are refering to this thread:
"Native Darstellung über VGA/DVI", right?

All the hifi/tv/htpc forums i have visited have at least one such thread, but covers different TVs. I found the link for the german wiki site, which covers alot( but not all ! ) TVs. Furthermore i would like to include not only LCD, but also plasma and rear pro etc.

My idea is to create one place where everybody(not only germans

can access and enter this kind of information, its simply stupid that this knowledge is fragmented.

Im of course going to use the data from the german wiki in the wiki i created, but if its going to be of any use, people are going to have to add to it themselves, i cant keep tabs on 30 forums in different languages! For example, its hard for me to see whats going on in the thread.

I will also place a link in my wiki to the german wiki.
