It looks like a Hybrid. Valve are just for input stage and another valve (EM87) to provide a "magic eye" display. Output must be chip. In the picture, the plates of the tubes are glowing red ! I dont know if that an effect, but in reality a small triode glowing like that means bad news  Quite a fancy thing to have. |
