This forum is asleep…………thought I’ll post some interesting info I found on the net. http://www.audioresearch.com/150.2.htmlhttp://www.audioresearch.com/300.2.htmlI don’t believe this. Of all people, die-hard tube guys like audio-research using Tripath class T in their SS amp. Wow ! But these buggers are not light-weight. They weigh as much as most other SS maps. Anyone heard these ? |

Yup…….I checked again. It is dated 2004  But I am really surprised to see them embracing Tripath Class T as far back as 2004 |

Hate their new T Amps! Prefer their old valve amps as well as their new valve amps/pre-amps. |

cant blame them for trying........maybe thats the roadmap for amps  Cary a tubey, had come out with SS amps as well some time back and are advertised quite a bit but dont know how they sound. manek. |
