Car-fi in Bangalore

Hi,

One of my friends wants to get a hifi system installed in his car. Do you know any good place in Bangalore where he could go? Going to the regular dealers have not been of much help.

If you were in Mumbai, I could have helped you.
I do not have any idea of how things work in Bnagalore.
However you can log onto TeamBHP - ICE section & you will get some suggestions. I know Mr. Asrani is a big guy in Bangalore, I have learnt my time alignment from him. Knows a lot.
You can call me for product suggestions & what to buy & from whom etc. Most of the Car Audio guys are well known to me.

Do you have any contact info for Mr. Asrani? Is he on TeamBHP?

He [Asrani] used to be in Chennai - now has moved to Bangalore. I do not have his numbers. he may be on Team BHP. However top installers in Bangalore must surely be having his contact.

1. auto fusion: Anwar : 9886037737 damn good guy but not easy with a long wait time
2. Sprocket : in Koramangal 5th Block.. not too bad. i got it done thru them.

I know of Anwan - he is really very very good.
Expensive, but does a good job.

Does anyone have experience with mid-fi car audio? I'm getting a nice deal for the following...

HERTZ Hi-Energy HSK165 comps
HERTZ Hi-Energy HCX165 coax
HERTZ Hi-Energy HX-300D 12" Sub with sealed box
Audison SRx2 2ch (Two pieces)
Audison SRx1 mono
Power Cables
Distribution Block
Power & Ground Cables (2 mtrs), Interconnects, Speaker cable (all Audison)
Damping (Dynamat Extreme)

All the above for 95 grand. Is it worth it and how good would it be sonically compared to mid fi home audio?

If it is Brand New - it is a free Deal !!! But if it is used, condition is to be looked into.

If Brar is giving all this to you @ 95/- K it is more than free.

The key is set up.
You need to get the gear well installed.
It may take 3 to 5 days to do it well & then a long long time to tune it.
If you can do it correct, then it will really play well.
I like Car SQ Set Ups. !!!

Its all brand new not used. I guess I need to catch that Anwar guy to have it setup. Bhagwan have you heard Hertz? I've never heard them so dont have a clue

) I have the very same hertz combination except for the sub (i dont have a sub)

the midrange and treble are really great..slightly forward when stopped since in use a Pioneer HU..But while running it is OK

i found the hertz to be much warmer when compared with the infinity..

Fantastic :D. Arj if you dont mind, could I come over and listen to your car once? Also what car is this installed in? I intend to use my existing blaupunkt MP46 head unit with it but throw away the factory provided mitsubishi OEM speakers as they are rubbish.

no problem..but my vehicle is a pretty bad one for audio..its a scorpio due to which the ground noise is pretty high.

i have a run of the mill sony 4 channel amp as well..so may not have the resolution of a audison.

team BHP may be a place where you can get to hear about the exact combination you are talking about
