Hi !

I need to buy a power amplifier for my car;

Mono Amplifier - Class 'D'

This I need for a car.

2 sub woofers are to be driven.
Sealed Box Enclosure.

Any suggestions ?

I own a 300W Class D power amp that i am using in my car to drive two 12 inch Pioneers in vented enclosures(which i need to change).

The model that i am using is JBL BP300.1
A truly superb amp.
I suggest u look at the 600 or the 1200watt versions of the same JBL Power(maybe now the GTO) series.
I think they are even 1 ohm stable!

Exceptional bass quality and they are rated at 12.4 V..not 14V

Of course if u want serious SPL JBL has a 6000 watt amp costing 6000$!!
ANyway, i would think JL audio would be much much better than Illusion audio.

My car is an SQ car & not a SPL car.

Hence, I do not need a lot of power, but some really very very clean power.

I will still look at JBL.

I like JL Audio a lot;

However, it is not available in India [at least that is what I think] & hence sourceing it is a problem for me.

I am sure, I could have got a very very good sub from JL Audio @ US $'s 600/- a piece !!! Well that is what I paid for my ND-12 [Illusion Carbon] sub woofer. A lot of money, do you not think so ????

THis is a big problem in India, a lot of the stuff that you want is not available, and if it gets here, the prices go 'crazy' !!!
