hi manek.

i prefer roksan too because of supports in iran and the
quality ...

but as i said befor i listen to wide range
musics , from jazz - classic to death metal - new age ...

i don't have any problem with roksan in jazz and classic,

but for trance and death metal, i need more power ,
what can i do with roksan to solve this problem ?

using 2 or 3 or more power amps ?
or mixing another brand power amp like krell with roksan ?

what else can i do ?

thanx for your help...

hi,

Since your speakers are 4ohms impedence the roksan AV amp can dish out 260 watts/ch at 4 ohms in 2 channel mode which I think should be enough. I assume you want to buy this av amp for movies as well ? Your integrated amp will dish out 100 watts/ch at 4 ohms. If you buy the Caspian M series - 1 integrated then that will deliver 120 watts/ch at 4 ohms.

All the roksan stereo integrated amps are high current as their peak current rating is 50 amps so it will be good for the dynaudio as they are difficult speakers to drive.

If you are going for a krell integrated amp then you dont need the above roksan amps.

Krell will have heavier bass but the roksan will be smoother across the entire frequency range.

To my mind, it all depends on what kind of music is important to you and what you will be listening most of the time. If you are really worried about the capacity of the roksan not playing death metal, pop, trance etc. to your liking then invest in a krell integrated is with output of 200 watts per channel or greater.

Dynaudio speakers are not bi-wirable so just use one big integrated amp to drive them.

let me know if this helps.

hi manek ,
as we know , all the amps we are talking about are flats
no base no trible settings...

but i need changing thems on diffrent musics so
what about using a equalize(shaper) ... ?
and name me some good brands on them match to roksan ...?
and also you didn't say you opinion about dynadio A-82,
tell me if it's ok or any better ones in this range ...

thanx realy.

oh sorry...synaudio A82 will be good for all kinds of music. The audience series is the entry level series but the 82 is the top of the line of the audience.

There is another line contour from dynaudio and the S5.4 and S3.4 are better speakers and since I remember you saying money was not a problem I recommend you try and hear them too if you can.

You are right...no bass and treble control on the roksan, I checked on their website also and their pre-amplifier also does not have bass and treble control. This is obviously to make sure the signal path stays short and the quality stays true. Now we may need to match a pre-map or an equaliser. I prefer a preamp. So we will have to find a good combo of pre-amp and power amp for you.

Please give me a day...i will think about it and let you know. In the ,ean time let me know if there are any more products available besides roksan, rotel and krell.

we could use the roksan power amps and pair it up with another pre-map with bass treble control, if that is important to you. To be honest the roksans I've heard have enough bass and treble for any kind of music and dont need adjustment. Actually any good pre-power combo does not warrant the user to increase the bass and treble unless in rare circumstances or if you have very dark sounding cables.

So what we could do is go for the roksans since you like them so much and I do too. if you feel the need to alter bass and treble then go in for the equaliser later. With dynaudio as your speakers your tonal balance will be spot on.
Equalizers may be the last option but if they can be avoided, nothin like it.

can you get to hear the dynaudio contour S series I mentioned earlier ?
