Came across this one at a forum.
Nice looking stereo integrated amp by Yamaha. Nice departure from the usual crappy ones they make.

Really nice design copied from Marantz and Luxman amps of the seventies. Retro design at it's best you get from the company "Leben". I love it.

Oh my, my!!
this amp looks very much like my 1973 vintage Yamaha CA-2010 integrated amplifier!
the same brushed aluminum face plate, the same square looking selector knobs, the same location for the volume knob!!
My amp is rated for 120W/ch into 8 Ohms +
I have a switch on the front that allows me to switch it into class-A mode for the 1st 30W/ch. It runs hot in class-A mode!!

these all-metal amps from Yamaha sound simply superb!
(others made out of full metal from Sansui, Marantz, JVC, Sony, Luxman, Kenwood were also extremely good sounding. All seem to have been made in the 1970s & early 1980s. They simply do not make integrated amps like that anymore!
Recently tho' there seems to be a resurgence with Luxman & now Yamaha. Let's hope that these manuf can sustain this new trend.
Luxman's amp is EXPENSIVE in the USA - $3750!! wonder who will be buying a 30W/ch pure class-A $3750 integrated amp?)

Hi
Sq_Wave the Yamaha look neat, but Googlimalas Leben is from a different world, great finish. The website has some real classy photographs of their products too.

here are some pix of my Yamaha CA-2010 integrated amp. It looks very similar to the new model posted by square_wave! Glad to see that Yamaha is trying to go back to its roots integrated amp design & looks-wise.
Apparently from whatever I have read on the Internet, these 1970s & 1980s Yamaha amps were very popular worldwide.

That’s a cool Yamaha you have. I used to have an all metal sansui before. Made the mistake of selling it and buying a newer model pioneer. The sansui sounded better.

I understand from the postings that Yammi is producing good amps from 70s & 80s itself. I've seen some Sr audiophiles using their receivers for HT purpose. Yammi has its own fans too.

That means, Yammi is not a crappy prod producer. Only the listening tastes makes it like or dislike.

Yamaha has all of it ie fantastic audiophile products, Pro audio products, musicla instrument as well as Crappy products to its name.

so branding all components as either great or pathetic would both be wrong

Currently the Yamaha Piano - Concert Grand - is supposed to be the best that one can get, yet better than the Steinway / Bossendorfer et all.....

Sir, I have no clue of what is the international price for this product.

All I know it is being sold in India at that price.
