hello pips,

as you can see from my previous posting that i've been looking for a european stuff dealer in the US... well i haven't found one yet... good thing though, because a friend of mine is coming from the UK and i ill be asking his help to buy me stuff when he gets here 2 weeks from now !

following are the complete system i would ask him to get me :

B&W DM602 S3, NAD C541i, Rotel RA02, Qunex One audio interconnect, Qed Si Anni bi-wire speaker cables ...

So here's something I need from you guys ... suggestions and comments about the system.. and also... importantly - how do you think will the difference in the voltage requirement (we use 110 v here , so i'll be using a transformer) affects the performance ?

A good choice!
The DM602 S3 are very good speakers

Suggestions? Get it (and listen)!
Will you be able to hear your new set before buying?

i finally found some dealers in the east coast, the closest is 2 hrs drive. unfortunately, they only take orders, so once ordered, considered sold...

there's a dealer though about 12 hrs drive from where i live who would allow auditions before buying - but it's too far - so i think i'll just rely on what i read and order them anyway from the 2-hrs-drive-dealer.

btw, i noticed that this is not a very active forum website eventhough the web address is very easy to catch... too bad...

Hey!

Ain't there any possibility to hear the new components (you should listen to the new speakers, best would be with the new amp, but if this is not possible, any other amp would do it, too) at the 2hrs-dealer?

Otherwise I'd prefer to drive 12 hours, just to be sure, that the new set sounds good to me

This forum is a bit new, so there ain't so much traffic yet, but if you take a look at the other (german) forum -->

http://www.hifi-forum.de there are more postings than you are able to read.
In a few weeks, I hope this might be in .net, too.
I try to write as many postings as I can to get this started, but it would be good to have some other supporters
