Hi Sachin again with Speakers now

I have heard that Bose Acaustimass 5 goes awesome with HK 235... but it will solve the purpose or Audio only.. not even the movie dialogues for which center speaker is important... Also regarding the remaining 2 surround speakers other than Bose 5 module.... not sure which one to use for that... Subwoofer in the Bose module is amazing.. I mean I have seen the Bose 5 setup with Denon reciever at my friend's place not with AVR235.. but i will going with Bose AM5 with AVR235 for Audio .... as music usage is more than 80% whereas movie is less that 20%....

Any suggestions any comments ...

try wharfedale(33K) or space(27k)
i dont think many people would recommend bose-
its too pricy and more over yu can get better stuff-

I agree with you atht Bose is not the ultimate in sound, but it is priced compare to onkyo and other entry level sat systems, Bose A5 cost about 43-45K and A10 at about 56K, Bose never offer discount (another marketing master stroke), it is touch above onkyo in pricing, Bose can never be compared to a tower speaker performance for sure, but i fond it quite ok compares to other sats, BUT But at 37K KEF was better to me than A10 @ 56K. Also Jamo has a 5.1 sats that cost about 40K also in the same leage as bose or touch better. So pls look around, there are many good option for 40-50K ,pro 100 is 47 K (I have't auditioned it)
If towers are important, then U get everthing excpet the sub 40-45K froim wharfedale, KEF ...

hey....even Sonodyne has better sounding packages than BOSE in 40 - 50k range....check them out they are very decent..
you can even add a tower speaker in their package..

Hey Sachin,

Firstly unless you have a very small room or you have
space constraints to accomodate floorstanders, only then
opt for a sat/sub package. Cause for about less than 70k
you could get a decent floostanders, center, bookshelf &
subwoofer 5.1 package. In my opinion, dont opt for the Bose.
You see YOU DEFINE A PRODUCT AT A PRICE. Bose is not value
for money. Its exhorbitant. Basically at that price you
could get much better. If sat/subs is what you are looking
at then consider the following, i find these packages
better than Bose - Kef, Anthony Gallo & Def Tech.
The Golden rule - Trust your ears. Hear these and then come to a conclusion. Cheers.......
