Genies are good but a bit pricey (I felt). At the same price you can Sonodyne Bookshelves at the rear.

i have a lithos noa1 home theatre set up and believe me they are fantastic .... absolutely great stuff .. especially if you are looking at audiophile stuff. they are located at bandra , mumbai . even i was quite sceptical about indian speakers but once i heard them out at their bandra home ( yes they offer demo at a home which is not acoustically treated - so the sound you hear there is the sound you get at your home) i knew this was what i was looking at ... clean mid and highs and tight bass . the noa1 is a sub sat system .. so a stereo set up will comprise of 2 sats and 1 sub . Amazing is the word .. go for it and you wont regret it

I have a home theatre set up - comprising of 5 noa1 sats and 2 subs all of lithos ( to have a dekko of the sub visit their page at lithosindia.com and visit the noa1 section in their product page.

If you want a stereo set up comprising of noa1 speakers then they provide you with 2 sats and 1 sub. that is what i meant when i said that theirs is a sub sat system. My home theatre like i said comprises of 5 sats ( 3 front + 2 surround) and 2 subwoofers - 1 in the front and 1 at rear.

their sound is really clean ... but then like lithos themselves say hearing is believing ... you have to hear them yourselves to believe

there is no reason why you cant mix them with sonodyne subs ... but i would still stick to one brand because they would be in sync ( though timbre matching argument doesnt hold good in subs ... i would still stick to one brand) ...

i often listen to hell freezes over (the dts version) ... the system just seems to have a life of their own ... the speakers just vanish and you have a spotlessly clear sound field
