Need Help on choosing TV for Movies/Gaming

Hello everyone!

This is my first post in this forum. My search for the my next TV brought me to here. Since TV models vary much across countries (i.e. Panasonic model I mention below seems to be Germany-only), an English investigation online is not fruitful (I live in Germany).

So here's the issue: I want to buy a new TV for up to 1700 Euros, between 55-60 inches, for mostly connecting to my Mac and watch movies and some casual gaming on PS4/PS4 Pro in the future. I don't watch TV channels.

Now I am stuck between two possible options:
1- Panasonic TX-58EXW784: The new, upcoming TV with quite high specs, 3D support, Hybrid Log Gamma, bigger size (3 inches) etc. It looks very appealing, but I don't know about its gaming performance. Since I am not a hardcore gamer, I don't look for "very low" input lag, an acceptable, not easily noticeable lag is fine for me. I checked the existing equivalent model, 58DXW784, and it seems to have ~50ms input lag. Also, it has Firefox OS, which development is discontinued.

2- Samsung UE55KS9090 (or UE55KS9000): This TV seems to have scored very high in many reviews, and definitely a recommended gaming TV. It is curved, and since the same model is available on US, it's easier to find how-to sources about it, there are simply more content. And its picture quality is told to be very good as well, it also supports HDR, but not HLG or 3D. It's also an older (2016) model, and smaller compared to the Panasonic one. But I suspect that Samsung might have better color depth/image quality in general.

Sound quality is not an issue because I don't use TV internal speakers.

So I have hard time deciding which one to get. I am asking you, the Hi-fi pros, which one would you go with, and why? If you have any other recommendations, they are more than welcome.
