hi guys,
i recently bought an ipod -
very very simple to use and awesome deisgn till you get to the itunes -
1-uploading an album art takes loads of times
2-i still cant figure if you can make folders under folders-
i.e you have the
main ipod menu
music
album
a
b
c
d etc etc albums- can you create folders at this level-
same with pictures-
3-tho' this is secondary, i managed uploading a video but the sound stayed behind- it simply plays the video-

any idea-
your experiences would be welcome-

Hi Anirvan,

I am a fan of the ipod, and I concur with your initial thoughts on iTunes.

However, after a ( painful ) process of discovering how to use iTunes, I like it a lot now.

My suggestion is to sit with a friend who is familiar with iTunes and let him demo the features to you. THEN its Really simple.

Also, its best to connect your ipod when using iTunes... it activates many features which are otherwise not visible in iTunes, unless the iPod is connected.

Regardsing your queries :

CREATING NEW FOLDERS
I am not sure I understand yr question.

Do you want to create new folders in iTunes ? Yes, that is possible. Click where U want to create the folder / sub-folder, and then File / New Folder.

You can delete the subfolder by right clicking on it, and select delete.

VIDEO
This IS an issue unless o are using the correct software.

Videora is a free ware popularly used. Check out newsgroups on the video ipod, and read thir archives. ( Dont ask this question to the group as soon as you join.... Its been asked and answered a Zillion times before, and regular memeber may get peeved...

)

I personally like Clone DVD for mobiles. ( Its not freeware :-( )

Avoid ripping to AVI.... there are soooo many combinations of the Video & audio rip options that the sound rarely works.
