Yamaha rx-v685 firmware update 1.72 Amazon Alexa

Hallo zusammen, habe seit gestern das Update 1.72 drauf. Unter anderem Amazon music das funktioniert einwandfrei. Aber als source kann man ja auch alexa auswählen da passiert bei mir aber nichts

Kann mir da jemand ein Tipp geben wie das funktioniert?

mir das gleiche, weiß sonst wer ein changelog?

ahja bei mir wirds nicht nur als 1.72 sondern auch als 1.85 geführt

Moin,
habe die heute auch auf dem RX-880 installieren lassen.

Auf dem Webinterface sieht mal 1.72/1.85.

Auf der Yamaha Seite ist sie noch nicht online.

Was gibts da Neues?

Hi all, sorry for the English reply, my German skills are awful.

This thread seems to be the only discussion I've found on the Internet that is asking about how the new Alexa input works.

It's quite simple really. If you set your default speaker for the echo in the room where the RX-V685 is to be the RX-V685 using the Alexa app on your mobile device, when you then ask Alexa to "play some classical music", the amp automatically switches to the Alexa input and starts playing music via the amp rather than using the echo.

This gives you voice control of your music choice as an alternative to using the MusicCast app with your preferred streaming service.
