Marantz PM17 MKII & CD7300

Hello all

further to my search (hmph long one it is eh), I have bumped into a possiblity to getting used Marantz PM-17 MKII amp and the CD-7300. I havent heard it yet, will listen to it on Sat. I would like to hear your views on this.
Any ideas how this would pair with the Proacs studio 110?

Also if you were to compare this system with the
Epos 12.2 + Creek (EVO)/Arcam A70 + Arcam CD73,
what are your views?

Both (cd 73 and cd 17 mk2) have their own supporters depending on their personal preferences. I think you need to check both out in your setup and listen yourself. People here may suggest one based on their preference which may not work for you. It is easy to suggest if one is really low end which is not the case here. Both are decent mid-end one box players. So can’t really say. Only you can say.

Sure, will listen to it and post a review. Was wanting to know about any reviews from the forum members? also its probably pairing with either proAC or epos?
Square- maybe thats the reason why this topic is devoid for replies, will post the review after i listen to them.

I have heard the Arcam A70 integrated with the cd73 on a pair of Linn Ninkas. The setup sounded very good. The combo may work with the studio 110 too.

I think he is talking about Marantz CD7300!!

Basically what I understand from Bharathana's post is, he is proposing two systems and asking us to give our choice:

1. Proac Studio 110 + Marantz CD7300 + Marantz PM17-KI/Arcam A75 amp.

2. Epos M12.2 + Creek Evo/Arcam CD-73 + Creek/Arcam A70 amp.

Which is a better setup to buy ??
Please correct me if I am wrong Bharathana.
