Will a MX power strip work for my amp?+A -A |

Hi, I'll be getting my amp in a few days  Problem is, theres only one power point near it, and it has to be shared with my PC and its peripherals.  I use a simple MX power strip right now. Was thinking of getting a 15A rated strip (the wall socket is 15A). I think that would be better for the amp. Now, MX has some products with "EMI filters". Will they be good or bad audio-wise? |

Even if there were any difference , i doubt if you will make out any in a lof fi or a mid fi setup. ideally i would just plug it into the wall but the strip should work. |

Dont worry about power..taking a cue from what Bhagwan69 had hinteed at, that should be the minimum of your worries ... for the time being plug the amp in via any cord..if it has a cricuitbreaker/power surge protector you will sleep easier. |
