What's the forum's take on JoLida 1701A(Hybrid-50WPC),and CAYIN TA-30(Pure Tube Amp)? How would they fair against each other?Pricewise there is hardly 1000-1500 Rs.difference,correct me if Iam wrong. Thanks. |

my vote goes to the jolida. less hassle probably bout replacement tubes and more power cos of the solid state output... soundwise i haven't heard the jolida. the cayin only briefly... |

I tend towrds jolida myself for longer trouble free performance as there will not be any power tubes/biasing to worry about. Then again your speakers will dictate the amp you choose most of the time. hear them both extensively first. Manek. |

Heard the Cayin / Dali Euphonia combination, but to my ears it sounded pretty lifeless. Havent heard the Jolidas, though. |

Dalis are not really know to synegise with Valves..they need SS (Or the exp valves) to get any dynamics out of them ! |
