Dali Ikon 6, Monitor Audio RS6, B&W DM 603 S3 - Which would it be?

Wish you all a very happy new year.
I am about to finalise on my first Hi-Fi speakers. Which of these would you recommend?

Dali Ikon 6
Monitor Audio RS6
B&W DM 603 S3

I am going to drive them using a Denon AVR 2803 which I currently own.

I need to finalize on my speakers within the next two weeks. I would appreciate all the help I can get.

I like the Dali Ikon 6 personally.

However, the best thing for you to do is to take your Amplifier to all 3 places, Ritz Hotel, Play Showroom & Excelsior Theatre, hook up the 3 pairs of speakers to your amp, audition the speakers, decide on what you like, haggle on the price & then buy.

Doesn't it take time for your ears to start appreciating the subtle differences?

subtle differences ..yes it takes time as you have to train your ears to do the listening to the right things.. but many folks do that subconsciously, without knowing that they are doing it.

the liking for the Tonality and rhythm of a speaker is more easy to make out. play two speakers to the same volume with the same setup..keep switching them around a couple of times ant you will most probably like one of theM. if both sound good then either should be ok for you..

but before you go to an audition, listen to your favourite CDs, ideally via a headphoe/earphone a couple of times.. it helps..
