Denon Vs HK, Polk Vs Coda+A -A |

Hi all, How does the Denon 1705 compare with the Harmon Kardon 130? Also, a comparison between the Polk Monitor 60 Vs Coda 90, anyone? Which of the above amp speaker combination would be better? Also, I was told that a 1705 would be better with monitor 50 that with monitor 60. Is this correct? I listen to Metallica, linkin park, dave matthews, coldplay, dire straits, Prodigy, Tracy chapman, Eminen and also watch lotsa DVD's. My room dimensions are 10 ft X 15 Ft Thanks |

My direct vote goes to Polk Monitor 60 + HK AVR 130. Both are better than their counter parts you have mentioned and also both will match well. Forget Coda 90, it has "NO" bass for your kind of music. Denon is good for HT but HK has got ,any good reviews even for stereo and I have heard them personally so I can recommend you HK. |
