I have a Harmon Kardon 150+ Quad (circa 1970) which I would like to sell for a friend who is not Internet capable and in need of money.

I wondered if you would be kind enough to advise me on how much I could expect to get for it and how best to sell it. The machine needs some dusting but otherwise is in good working order. I was thinking of ebay, but I don’t know if I would get a good price for it. He (My Friend) hopes to get 200+ Euros for it, is this realistic? I have seen similar machines for sale for about 300+ Euros, but not this exact model. I’m beginning to think that the HK 150+ must be very rare.

Hello,

the last 150+ i have seen on Ebay was this on here:

Sold for 79,90 EUR.

It is a little bit difficult to say if this is cheap, a right price or not.

But what i can say is, that i have not seen many of the Quadro-Receiver from Harman, so ist seems that they are quite rare.

Thanks 4 your reply, mein Kumpel wird sich jetzt mehr freuen.

I don't know why my searches on ebay yielded so little results, I must have done something wrong.

This HK machine sounds really good, I would like to have one as well, but my wife would skin me alive if I kept it! Women don't understand such things, I don't know why.

In the last time several units have been sold, but noone more than dicko´s (if i remember right). In good condition perhaps 150, perhaps more before christmas, but there don´t seem to exist many people at this time that are really interested in (and make a good price). So perhaps it´s better to sell at a fixed price.

Thanks for your comment, it was very kind of you. I might just do that, but first I will speak to the owner of the HK 150+.

It is really nice to so many people with similar interests who don't mind spending a few precious minutes to help each other. In our busy, hectic modern world (where there is never enough time) this means alot!
