Sonos mit I Tunes Match verbinden

Hallo Zusammen,

möchte mich zu Hause nun endlich vom analogen Medium verabschieden.

Habe mir nach langer Überlegung nun endlich ne Sonos 5 Anlage bestellt und bin auch von dem Ding bisher recht begeistert.

Habe nun folgendes vor:

Möchte alle CD´s loswerden.

Variante 1 wäre alle CD´s über i Tunes Match in die Wolke zu packen.
Variante 2 wäre die CD´s alle zu rippen und auf eine netzwerkfähige Festplatte zu packen (Netzwerk im Haus vorhanden).

Bisherige Hardware: Iphone und /oder android handy zur Steuerung Sonos Anlage und natürlich die Sonos Anlage.

Wie bekomme ich es nun am Besten hin, dass ich über die Sonos Anlage auf die Libary (Festplatte oder I Tunes Match zugreifen kann). Übers I Phone wäre es wahrscheinlich kein Thema aber meine Frau will das natürlich auch nutzen und die ist android.

Hat einer ne Idee, wie ich sytemübergreifend die Muke über Sonso streamen kann?

Using your iTunes Library with Sonos is really simple.

In Sonos Controller Settings (I am using the German version, so the places may be different from what I translate) you choose "libraries" and add a network location like \\nas\iTunes. Of course you need to share the folder on the network attached drive (nas).
Sonos will refresh the content on demand and once per day. you can configre that.
In addition Sonos will read the playlists from iTunes if it can read the file "iTunes Music Library.xml" somewhere in that share.

You cannot connect to the iMatch cloud storage as far as I know.

There are several other music services that can be used with Sonos, like last.fm (cheap, but you can only play "genres" but not individual titles), Napster/Rhapsody, spotify, Wimp, ....
