Hallo,
was kann den jetzt der Yamaha DSP E492 in sachen Heimkino?
Dolby Pro Logic
Dolby Digital?

Etwas verwirrt

One of the best way to upgrade your system to Dolby Surround is to add a Yamaha DSP-E492. The DSP-E492 will make virtually any system capable of accepting a 5.1 channel decoder, Dolby Digital or DTS. The DSP-E492 adds-on to a 5-channel receiver, a 2 channel receiver, 5-channel speaker system, or a separate system by using either a tape loop (line in & record out) or the pre-amp/amp couplers that are included as a feature on many products.

The Yamaha DSP E492 also has three 60 watt amps built in for powering a centre channel, and two rear speakers. It adds Dolby Pro-Logic decoding and 8 Yamaha DSP modes to your system. When connected to a system, it allows an outboard decoder to be used to decode Dolby Digital or DTS which is what I have done with the processor from the Aego system.

Hallo Stephan,

der DSP-E492 kann weder Dolby Digital noch dts!!!

Dafür bräuchte dein DVD-Player entsprechende Dekoder.
Er besitzt nur Dolby ProLogic 1.

Wenn du eine Surround-Erweiterung für deinen Stereo-Verstärker inklusive DD/dts-Dekoder suchst, dann solltest du den Yamaha DSP-E800 nehmen. Oder einen aktuellen AV-Receiver mit Pre-Outs.
