hallo

habe mir das radio jetzt auch gekauft dazu den monitor soooo

nun habe ich hier gelesen das ihr eine 30gb notebook festplatte dran bekommen habt

ich habe mir eine 20gb notebook festplatte besorgt mit y kabel etc sooo nun zeigt das teil "read fail" wenn ich die festplatte anschließe warum?

ich habe im internet geschaut und nen thread gefunden wo jemand das gleiche problem hat und es geschafft die platte zum laufen zu bringen aber ich verstehe nicht ganz was der mit remove u3 meint !?

This is exactly what I needed, let me explain.

I just got a new Car CD\USB Receiver

Its the JVC KD-G720

This baby is my car radio...and it has a USB flash memory slot.

Yep...plug in your USB flash drive and it plays the mp3s (or wma's) right from the drive.... all accessed from the display.

I got the 2GB Traveldrive and I could not make it work with this radio.

I reformated every FAT I could think of and NTSC but to no avail.

The radio would say "READ FAIL"

Then I found this thread. I completely removed the U3 portion of the drive and now it works in my new radio PERFECTLY!!

I have 30 albums on it and it's ALMOST full....just a few more to go.

A great big 'ol THANK YOU to saffran2 for starting this thread and a bigger THANK YOU VERY MUCH to aclure for posting that U3 removal utility link.

Übrigens hat der Kollege einen Speicherstick an den USB-Eingang angeschlossen, von einer Festplatte steht da nichts.
