Which Amp with Cadence Avita

Want to upgrade an amp to go with Cadence Avitas.

1. Shall i go with SS or Tubes?

2. My room is 24 x 17 x 10.5. Though listening area is 17
x 14 . Speakers are 8 feet apart and i sit 9 feet from
the speakers.

3. Musical taste is varied. Basically jazz, old rock and
some classical and not to forget new hindi film songs
(kids are thoroughly into it).

4. Budget is 70 ks.

Cayin and Nad C370 is up for sale.(Already put up in classified in a daily)

I already sold Cadence Divas.

With these sales im thinking of buying a new amp.

BTW, FWIW, all the Cadence speaker-wallas use Cadence's tube amp: either the VA-1 or the Canasya.

There are a few who use other amps as well and successfully so, rowland, classe, arcam, etc....the Cadence VA-1 would be the obvious choice.....try the Prima Luna if you can.....one thing for sure,....they are amp friendly speakers....70-80 watts of clean 'n' smooth solid state power would be good for you as well.

BTW what are the choices you have in your city ?

Choices in my city are almost nil.

I have to source the amp from either Mumbai, Bangalore or Delhi.

Though Cadence VA1 is in my mind i want to explore other possibilities as well.

Maybe an amp with more power and current to drive them.

Dude do the VA-1 and enjoy,finish this game.If possible get the 20 watt class-A version, provided you are a good audio neighbour,as spl will be limited.

Won't my room will be an overkill for Class A 20 watter?
I talked to Cadence guys and they recommended their 36 watter for my room

HMMM,try them both if possible, if Cadence is game for it.
The difference is about 3dbs,so maybe you need the last bit of power if your room is large.

I know somebody who uses the audio-analogue Puccini amp with the cadence anina with very good results.

Puccini is a 40 watter right ? the SE would be a 55 watter. maybe the SE would do. Do remember the Avitas are less sensitive than the Aninas by a db or two.

or maybe if around 3db we need twice the power....Puccini might be a 40 watter but it does have a good drive..Is it again those conservative power ratings syndrome is anybody's guess....or go Arj way by just adding a Sugden A21 and forget the rest... a real giant killer but one major gripe is it's a non remote..My first encounter I was gaping at this little thing with best lows...unbeleivable...you know I'm a low lover..

...very neat lows ...and highs and rest Arj can comment as I didn't spend more than 15 mins with this lil silver dudeey..now I can see a huge grin on Arj's face there in France
