The D-102 III hybrid is the way to go as it is a proper audio RCA interconnect with one wire for the line, one as negative return and a shield.

The D-300 III is a cable with a wire at centre and a shield. Also used as a digital audio cable.

The first ultimate is a full carbon cable. A friend of mine has it but I did not like it much personally. Its best used with tube amps. I heard it with arcam and B&W and somehow upper end details were rolled off a bit. Mids and bass were very good. A few users have complained of system hum after changing to carbon....nothing wrong with the cable, I guess its their equipment but it works for most people.

If you system is new break, it in and your brightness will decrease. if it isn't use the D102 III. Has won a lot of awards and rave reviews as well. I use it in my system and I love it.
