Akai AM A1 - right speaker problem

After about 20 years, I decided to re install my old 80's stereo .It is an AKAI AM A1. I installed the speakers in order to check if it is still alive, but I noticed that the right side sounds lower and a bit strange (as it sound from deep). I decided to open the amp even if I am not an expert. I saw that there is no noticeable wear or any kind of damage on the boards or the wiring. But one of the fuses that, although it had to be 1.6a, it is obviously changed by one with 2.0L.

Could this be the problem or I have to check for something else?

The fuse cannot be the culprit - either it is still intact or not, and if it does not work, you will not hear anything.

Can you rule out that the speakers are causing the issue?
What happens if you switch the speakers from left to right?

The fuse was indeed the culprit. The amplifier was still in function (even though the sound was horrible from one side) with a burned fuse. I changed it and now the 40year stereo is working perfectly.

Very strange, I wonder what kind of fuse that was.
