Bose Lifestyle 35 and DVD+R

I am writing in connection with Bose Lifestyle system. I have to say that I own 4 (four) Lifestyle modules in my house, three of them are Lifestyle 35 and one is 28. I also have to say that I am really not satisfied with those products at all as they don't have some basic features that some of the cheapest DVD players have (for example they don't have a timer and clock ?!?)
But I am not writing about that. I am writing in connection with another thing that "impressed" me today. I cannot play DVD+R media on my Lifestyle 35 and 28 modules, the recorded stuff on the DVD+R runs several times faster, and it is not possible to watch. Of course, I can watc that on my PC...and on 50$ DVD player at my friend's home...So, I am interested if there is any possibility to fix that or does Bose read only DVD-R dics, not the DVD+R...?
