thats sounds very cute

wonder how they plan to figure out what bits were lost on conversion to MP3 and add that back..

it seems to be some kind of a DSP to play up some frequencies to make them sound clearer.

again maybe it is some kind of an external DAC or external sound card.

Its a scam... avoid it like plague :P. The "crystallizer" or whatever they call it is complete rubbish on an X-Fi soundcard itself. My xfi outputs a 24/96 signal over toslink in bitmatched mode all the time other than games. Enable any dsp and the sound quality starts becoming rubbish. I wonder why anyone would pay to get just that stupid crystallizer.

Maybe the same guy who would buy a "genuine" birchwood volume contol knob to 'better bring out the transients' & 'make the sound more full, more transparent" !

It can have 2 inputs

1. USB to take care of the Digital in
2. Regular high level ins to take care of MP3 players.

While the DAC can ensure better performance than the computer..no way it can equal the SAME DAC playing a CDP.

secopnd is of course DSP related..like Jhankar Beats (Not the Movie)
