In collaboration with Saroj Jhaveri Foundation.

The year 2008 marks the completion of 10 years of service to the Arts by the Saroj Jhaveri Foundation. In this landmark year, Saroj Jhaveri Foundation takes pride in presenting world-renowned sarod maestro Amjad Ali Khan, accompanied by tabla-wizard, Zakir Hussain.

The Gwalior gharana maestro will regale the audience with a special concert of rare compositions on sarod.

Tickets: Rs.180, 135, 90 & 60 (for Members).
Rs.240, 180, 120 & 80 (for the Public).

Box Office: January 26 for Members and January 29 for the Public.

Attended it !

Went with my mother; I begged for tickets, managed [what luck] sat seperately.

Lovely evening.
P.A. volume was too loud - as usual -

Let us forget the 'bad' parts.
What a great concert !!

I loved it.

They played together so well.
No one was trying to 'outplay' the other.

'Alaps' were too short - sad part again -

Amjed Ali Khan Saheb played 6 rags I think. Shall try to remember their names :-

Lovely evening. No break - 2.45 minutes. Loved it.

Wish we have more - no PA - that is all I wiah for !!!
