Guns N' Roses to rock India in Nov
11 Sep 2009, 0252 hrs IST, PTI

LONDON: Guns N’ Roses, one of the most successful rock bands in world history, will

be performing in India this November. The legendary rock
band fronted by Axl Rose,
have signed on to perform at the Palace Grounds in Bangalore, reported Contactmusic. “It is true that we are bringing Guns N’ Roses to India.

As of now, I can tell you that the Bangalore concert has been confirmed. We’re still in talks with people in Mumbai and Delhi, so let’s hope that works out. However, there is a good chance we can take the band to Shillong as well,” said Raj Sinha, director of Rhapsody Inc, the company organising the Bangalore concert.

The ‘Sweet Child Of Mine’ hitmakers, who have sold an estimated 100 million albums worldwide are credited with reviving punk rock in the 1980s. The band had released their fifth album ‘Chinese Democracy’, which was in the making for more than a decade, in December 2008

I am bloody kicked about Porcupine Tree coming

Since its on a weekday I plan to fly in, attend the concert and fly right back to work (hopefully in a sober state)

Looks like India might make it to the big bands' gig list after all!
