DIGGING IN THE KLIRRDRECK .

Hallo Klirrgourmets , wo wir gerade so schön beim Thema sind , ihr wisst ja mittlerweile dass KT & HH etc euch die besten Sachen vorenthalten , aus welchen Gründen auch immer , da kann man nur spähcoolieren oder Verschwöhrungstheohrien basteln , als jahrelonger Abonnement bin ich vorgeschädigt und tendiere zu letzterem

Wie auch immer , nach Sichtung meines Lichtjahre weiten Nollädsch-Dungeons stiess ich auf ein formidables Paper von Onkel Keele , dem Bananenbochsenzüchter , aber das ist ein anderes öhrgötzliches Thema .

Nachdem ich meine beste Freundin Freulein Google befragte , rückte Sie die inoffizielle Seite von Keele raus . Dort kann man einen 290MBrocken runterladen mit etlichen Techpapers (auf "Download Anyway" klicken):

Man lade also herunter und gucke nach Kapitel 8 :

a. A copy of a very interesting presentation I’ve given a number of times titled: “Assessment of Sound System Short-Term Maximum Output”,

b. A complete set of test WAV files of the 6.5-cycle shaped tone bursts at each one-third octave from 10 Hz to 20 kHz,

c. A document which describes a special octave-wide composite bass tone burst test covering respectively 20 to 32 Hz, 40 to 63 Hz, and 80 to 125 Hz (low bass, mid bass, and high bass), and

d. A ZIP file containing the octave composite bursts themselves repeated at two bursts per second, one burst per second, and one burst every two seconds. A great test for a quick assessment of a subwoofer! Just apply the special burst, and turn it up until distortion is noticed.

D. h. schaut euch die Powerpoint Präsentation an und nehmt die Testfiles zum Testen , dann könnt ihr auch ohne Klippel feststellen welcher Töner den grösseren Klirrheadroom hat! (und ob eure Spieker nicht schon übel rumzerren bei eurem bevorzugten Abhörpegel)
