Hi,

Is there anyone who has any experience of Raveland HIFI-TIEFTOENER WHX-388 or WHX-488 ? You can get them at Conrad.

I am experimenting with Dipol-Sub and Open Baffles and these speakers are interesting.

The one parameter that is not available and which I want to know is X-max.

Hallo, Gibt es jemand, das jede mögliche Erfahrung von Raveland HIFI-TIEFTOENER WHX-388 oder WHX-488 hat? Sie können sie bei Konrad erhalten. Ich experimentiere mit Dipol-Sub und Open Baffles und diese Lautsprecher sind interessant. Der ein Parameter, der nicht vorhanden ist und die ich wissen möchte, ist X-Maximum.

hi tyketo...

i had two pieces of the raveland whx488... xmax of em was 4mm. not real much enough for a nice dipol/ripol

i think whx388 has same xmax.. like speakertrade prefers on the most series of their woofers.

Thank You, Stefan. No 4 mm is too small even for an 18"
speaker in OB-Sub.

yes.. not much for a home-hifi 18" woofer..
minimum +-7mm are needed for a better ob-sub as i remember and qts about 0,3 up to 0,7..
