Dämpfungsfaktor bei Digitalverstärkern (Onkyo A-9755)

Hallo zusammen,

Ich habe vor mir den Onkyo A-9755 zu kaufen und war deshalb vor einer Woche beim Hifi-Händler
und habe diesen an 2 Dynaudios Special 25 probegehört, die ich ebenfalls zu Hause habe und an einem Yamaha AX-592 betreibe.

Auf Nachfrage hin, warum der Dämpfungsfaktor beim Onkyo nur mit 25 in den Spezifikationen angegeben ist, hat er mir angeboten bei Onkyo in Japan nachzufragen.

Damping Factor at Digital Amplifier

Dumping Factor is obtained by static measurement and has a lot to do with Negative Feedback (NFB).
As the amount of Negative Feedback increases, the values in the specifications, such as static distortion and Frequency Response, but it is not all-arounder.
It could affect the sound quality because it delays transient response which affects dynamic characteristics.

For example, NFB does not work in the rising edge, and in such range, circuit characteristics are directly reflected on the sound.
Therefore, you could face a case where a product with excellent static characteristics does not have enough driving power in actual playback.

As you know, we have an amplifier design policy “WRAT” where we seek better open-look characteristics without depending on NFB.
We usually design amplifiers so as to have less negative feedback to minimize dynamic distortion.
Specially, NFB in A-9755 is less than 20dB and that in our analogue amplifiers have around 30dB.
On the contrary, other manufactures usually give much more NFB to get ideal values in the specifications.
That is why the value of Dumping Factor of our digital amplifiers is relatively low.

We believe that HICC (High Instantaneous Current Capability) has more direct impact on the sound quality.
You could see the speaker driving power by this value.
For your reference, here are the HICC values we got by our measurement.

A-9755/977 = 100A
A-1VL = 100A
A927/929 = 40-50A
Our AV Receivers = 40-50A
PMA 2000 IV (DENON) = 40A
RX-V2600 (YAMAHA) = 32A

Laut verschiedenen Forumsbeiträgen sollte der Dämpungsfaktor wegen der Basskontrolle doch möglichst hoch sein?

Kann jemand die Aussagen von Onkyo genauer erklären (Bin Elektronik Laie)?
