totally confused - advice needed

Hi,
Just joined the forum, as I am totally confused on what to go in for in the Hi Fi arena. We have a large room 17'X 35' & am looking for a good system, for music initially, which can be upgraded to a home theatre in the next few months as & when budget permits.
Liked the warfedale speakers, as well as the Missions 74i. Not heard JBLs. As per the dealer in Pune, the best combination is the Yamaha HT receiver RX-V- 1400 (Rs. 49500) + Mission M74i (Rs. 28000) + Yamaha subwoofer (Rs. 24000) & the Yamaha tape teck KX393 (rs. 13500). The centre & the rear satelite speakers are extra. This combination itself comes to a wooping Rs.91000/-.
Need some inputs on what is a good combination for a deck, AV receiver, main speakers & a sub, which can fit into a budget of 65000 or so & which can be upgraded into a 6.1 home theatre. I did like the mission 74i, but am open to looking at others also.
Would also want to know if the pricing given above is right.

I can understand your confusion. Iam in a similar state myself but can give you some options now
Yamaha RXV450 - 21k
Onkyo tape - 10k
denon 1404 - 25k
Speakers - can go in for jamo seris around 40k. so its around 70k

I've heard the mission and yamaha combo. Its terrible. Neither of them do justice to each other...they just dont match...that's only my opinion though.
