Reliable audio system servicing in Mumbai

Hi,

A friend of mine is facing problems with electrical shocks in his hi-fi setup. Unfortunately I do not have any other details.

Please could anyone recommend an agency/individual in Mumbai who could help out with servicing the system? The system is a Sony setup but he would prefer someone to come over to his home to look at it rather than sending it in for servicing.

Your help is much appreciated, as always.

Does anything & everything;
However, he is rather expensive.
Things like Sony etc. may not be viable.
He takes 5 K to see and touch.
I have never left him with a bill less than 15 or 20 K [if I remember correct] & the CD Player was not 'fixed' by him. I had to send it to Denmark to sort it out.

But, generally speaking - he is a nice guy and 'knows' what he is doing.

There is also a 'technicial' @ La Kozy [chowpatty] could be tried. Maybe Amp Nut has options and suggestions.....

No Sir - you are close.

The ALS 31 only comes in a white dial.
This ia a ALS Lange' 1. WIth a grey dial.

Another expensive hobby!!!!!!
Thanks for the info. Exquisite watch bhagwan. The 31 must be something! Lange' is out of my league. I am an IWC man.

I love IWC too;
Met Mr. Kurt Klaus [chief @ IWC] 2 weeks back in Mumbai.
Great watches they make. Attended a watch making work shop @ Taj with him....

You are correct - ALS is not for 'mortals' !
I too hold them in very high regard - cannot afford - but nice to admire !!!
But, if you like watches from Saxony then Glashuette Original is a 'cheaper' option to consider.

You are correct - it is an 'expensive' hobby !!

Simple as it may sound, the remidy could be to reverse the 2 Pin Plug, so the Live and neutral get swapped.

If he is using a DVD player as the source, it is almost CERTAINLY the culprit.... Disconnect it and see if the problem is resolved..
