Hi, Steinway, that legendary piano manufacturer has tied up with various record labels to launch a series of CDs featuring artists who play their brand of pianos, called Steinway legends. I picked up the following CDs from Rhythm House. Mitsuko Uchida,Wilhelm Kempff & Alfred Brendel. Outstanding recordings,outstanding music. I had seen this advertised on the Rhythm House web site but was reluctant to try out as it is rather expensive (790 each, 13125 for box-set). Glad to hear it is worth it. |

I just picked up some music from Pune - Oceanic Membran.net Do take a look. Got the delivery this afternoon. Will have to classify & then I shall listen to them. Pune members may drop by for a look - listen. Vikram is a very very helpful person @ Oceanic. I picked up a few boxed sets - 4 pcs @ Rs. 640/- each. great VFM I think. |
