Hi friends,I have a plattenspieler with amplifier, model no philips wechselkoffer fwv994. the record player is 22GC036 but the amplifier have no type no.I think that; The sound is low, for yo why is it?there is 15VDC after rectifier and two electrolitic capacitor on amplifier board, can They cause?

What means low? No sound? Low clear sound? Low distorted sound? Low in comparison to what?
On the amplifier boards are 3 electrolytic capacitors. Two that stand up and on is lying near the the two transistors. The amplifier has 4 transistors, the AC 188 and 187 are complementary Germanium transistors. Be carefull this transistors are relatively expensive.
Did you make a measurment on the amplifiere board already?

there is low clear sound and two electrolitik capacitor, 2500uf-15v and 100uf-10v.how will I make a measurement on the board.

Hi Ingor you are right sorry, just now I looked careful and there are two electrolitic cap. ( same value 100 uf-15v) and 1000uf-10 v

You could change these three capacitors, but this is only try and error. Do you have knowledge of electronics?

Before you change anything. Connect an external audio signal to the amplifier. The old audio catridges tends to degrade. So the amplifier is fine, but the signal from the "needle" ist to small.
