Greetings from Slovenia!

I have class A power amplifier that was made in Japan but branded by Continental Handels GmbH (from Western Germany, Munich). I suppose that it was made in mid 80'. Model is GA-COMPO A, Micro Component Stereo Power Amplifier. It's rated 50 W (I have no idea if it's per channel or total power consumption or whatever else). I'm looking for detaild specification, manual, brochure or any useful information (especially for input voltage sensitivity and impednace load for loudspeakers).

Continental Handels GmbH established multiple trademarks (like Interconti) aside company's name and connected companies all over the world (multiple in Munich like JUGO Elektro-Handels GmbH and generally in USA, Belgium, Canada, Yugoslavia ...).

Their bussiness was (as found in DPMA Register): Sound carriers - recorded and unrecorded - namely, records, tapes, and cassettes and video-cassettes; line or battery-operated table-radios and table television-sets, car radios and car television-sets, and portable radios and television-sets; recorders and players; recorders and players in combination with radios and television-sets; video-recorders; video-cameras and accessories for video-cameras, and ever-ready carrying cases for video-cameras and their accessories; hi-fi sets, tuners and amplifiers; interference suppressors and appliances, namely, developed to produce perfect reception; loudspeakers; accessories for named appliances, namely, cables, headphones, microphones, plugs, coupler plugs and socket connections, antennas and parts of antennas, namely, antenna cables and plugs; pocket calculators; tools.

I suspect that this amp is rebranded Grunding/Philips product.

Does somebody remember Continental Handels GmbH as shop chain in Western Germany?
