Two brands Deaf has very high opinions about. Maybe he can help you.

FWIW, I've heard the Heybrook .5 with the NAD and quite like the sound!

HB4 for 20 k ? Pick it up fast if you like them. They are good speakers.
But remember that all speakers have a “house sound”. Certain voicing based on the target audience and beliefs of the chief designer. Listen to them once, pick them up if you like the sound.

Yes i would, i have auditioned them and found little diffrence
in between both the speakers, i mean one peace is little less responsive around 7 to 10 percent comparetively and as i lower down the balance of the speaker which is more responsive they started sounding ok, my friend says it happens and doesn't attacks the quality of music, how true is that

What happens..
Two speakers with different loudness?
Check the amp...try the amp with another pair of speakers (any ordinary speakers), if there is still a difference in loudness then its the prblem with the amp else...the speakers..

I'd be concerned with this. Culprit could be the amp or the speakers themselves. Make sure there's nothing wrong with the speakers before taking the plunge.

i'll try to find out the culprit, should i go for arcam alfa 9 amplifier(used one) for 17k, its 2003 make and in good condition.

its most probably the amp whose balance setting needs to be done as you've done. never heard of speakers having different volume levels to date.

Long back while buying used speakers / amps, I used to carry one “single TO double” RCA interconnect with me. This way, I could play the same signal through both channels and check for loudness, distortion etc…I once had a guy trying to push me a pair of big Sansui speakers. Both pairs were working but in one speaker, the woofer was a re-wound one and the other side, the tweeter was the culprit. Look for distortion and loudness and you can locate the issue. Remember that there are a lot of unscrupulous fellows in this business. Watch out.

I think i was babied, i have paid the amount to him for heybrook and thats 20k not supposed to be cheap, i didn't notice that diffrence in sound when i took an audition at his home but now i can barely notice it. I have changed the interconnects, channels, amp and everything to make out the fault but it remained same and infact by balancing with nob from the amp they perform good but still there is a strain in my mind regarding the quality, now he is ready to barter it with aram alfa9 which is 2003 make. Since i am upgrading after
10 years of campanionship with cosmic i am little afraid of jump. Please advise me whether to retain this heybrooks or should i change it with alfa 9 and should buy new speaker later.

The amp looks good on specs...if you like the amp and you want to own them...then barter it. But before that, check that the amp is perfectly fine.

If you are sure its the speakers then sensitivity of each speaker is the problem. maybe they were not of the same batch.

Swap it for something different as if ever you go for an amp with no balance control you will be stuck.

Moreover you may not be able to sell these speaker later because anyone would make out this problem...you cant ask him him to use balance controls so you would be stuck with the speakers later on big time or sell it dirt cheap.

But then I didnt reccomend it to you...
Where is the irony...

Incidentally, I still like some of their products, even after hearing much higher end stuffs...hence I reccomend a audition where its suitable. To each his own buddy... . could there be anything simpler.

As the earlier dissusions says, nad 320bee and 352 plays equally good and 320 even at 50 watts doesnt lacks power to drive any moderate speakers, does that makes sense spending 9k more in 352 ?

Hi Bobby,
You definitely are lucky to have in abundance, the most expensive parameter in hifi i.e Real Estate
But to do justice to your setup, you would need a cracker of an amp for sure. You would need an amp which is not only revealing but also high-current. I suppose you may need to spend time on finding a decent amp for your room and setup.
Are you aware of Rotel ? They have an integrated amp RA-03 which has got very good reviews and is high on current as well...try to audition them if reachable.
