Guys..i have one question..For HT..why do we need huge speakers like bookshelf,or towers..when we can enjoy good sound with tiny speakers,BOSE style OR even SPACE ,the imaging will be excellent..especially,the sound from the tiny Space cubes which i heard was superb!.Also u can save a lot of space too,by fixing them on wall, n also u end up watching the movie than staring at the huge speakers around u as in the first case [Ok as AV MAX says ,there wont be full bodied sound[i dont know what it is?]].

.Also with the wires dangling around..matters get worse .and bookshelves u cant keep close to the wall,they say [surround channel].Also,it demands a huge room too.And later,if i want pure stereo sound i can buy a pair of flr standers.
Am i correct

hey who said that sats or not good HT's...of course can't beat a floor stander as fronts when it comes to sound impact and it is what Ht setup is all about...........right...with a good sub you can enjoy sats too.but never ever get close to fronts as floor standers and bookshelves as surrounds

the bose speakers are not as good as good highend speakers..

bose got its reputation because of its tricky marketing...

Big boxes means big and deep base...

it doesnt mean box equivalent to room size...
but bose cannot give audiophile quality

they are just fun speakers...
you can see lots of reviews where they judge these speakers dont sound good..

but better than sony, philips etc...

Totally true about what was said about bose's tricky marketing.

They just dont have the same imnpact. Size does matter!
